Once your photos have been accepted
and a signed contract returned, you will be sent a login name and
password which you will need to upload your photos.
To
upload your photos:
1) Login to your member record by clicking here.
2) Click 'Submit a New Listing'.
3) Fill in appropriate fields.
4)Upload photos in the Photo Upload Centre section of the listing
form following the Photo
Size Specifications.
Things to consider when uploading
1) The regular resolution indicated on the Photo Specification
indicates how your image will appear in the gallery. This image
is not offered for sale. In addition to the regular size, photos MUST be
uploaded in at least one of the additional sizes indicated (low,
medium or high). Photos that do not offer at least one of these
additional sizes will not be accepted.
2) The title of your photo also acts as its search term. Instead
of City Skyline, which is much too vague, use something like
Chicago Skyline Looking West or New York's Chrysler Building.
Your title should be descriptive, without exceeding 40 characters.
3) A description box is provided in the listing form to offer
any additional information about the photo that you cannot fit
in the title field. For example, if you are submitting a photo
of St. Peters Basilica, you might want to add in the description
box a sentence about when it was built or what it is used for
today, etc. This information can be helpful to buyers, so we
recommend you take the time to put something in this field (maximum
of 40 words, sentence format).
4) Editors reserve the right to reject or delete, at any time,
any image for any reason, without explanation based on our judgement.

5) Generic photos (i.e. flowers, fruit, wildlife) can be entered
in more than one city, as long as it is reasonable that the image
subject would appear in that city. |
